First Day of Buck 2008
Today is opening day of buck season in PA. 2008. I hunted this morning and only saw one deer on the run. This afternoon I hunted with Ted G. and Jason. I saw 3 doe then within minutes 2 more followed by a buck. I had only one chance at the buck. I stopped him by giving a little yell, then he stopped behind some thicket. I saw enough of his body to take a shot and did so. He bucked up, then only walked away. I found him within 40-50 yards. A decent 8 Point. I am a happy man.
